Garmin nüvi 260 3.5-Inch Portable GPS Navigator
Customer Review: Poor routing capability
I does not do a very good job of routing compared to other units I have. The user interface is awkward in certain areas. Search function for spelling a search term consistently "hangs up" my unit. It reminds me of Windows!
Customer Review: Garmin nuvi 260
The nuvi 260 has everything I need to be able to wander around without fear of getting lost. Only drawback - and I've noted this on other models; even the more expensive ones - the voice sometimes mispronounces or mis-states names of streets. However, it's always close enough!!
The 'T-mobile Sidekick LX', released in October 2007, introduced many new features over its predecessor, the 'Sidekick slide'. These features included a higher resolution camera, an improved screen which is now brighter and of a higher definition, new messaging options and an updated user interface. In this review, we take a look at whether these improvements are enough for the phone to live up to its competitors, such as the 'Blackberry Curve'.
The first thing worth mentioning about the Sidekick LX is its size. Especially with all the tiny phones being released these days, the Sidekick LX is big. While it is certainly easier on your hands and eyes (this phone is reportedly widely used by blind/deaf people), this also means that it will take up a lot of space in your pocket.
On to the good: The keyboard that comes with the phone is great. Not only does it include a full 'QWERTY' keyboard but the keys are spaced out well and typing is fast and easy. If there was one thing that made this phone stand out, it would be this. The other things we liked about the phone were the email client and the good audio quality while playing mp3s with earphones.
One of the downsides to this phone was the very small onboard-memory. However, you do have the option of slotting a microSD card to expand the memory. The phone's browser left a little to be desired in terms of display and in terms of speed.
There is a lot of good in this phone and a lot that could be improved. It all comes down to personal preference. If you would like a phone which is easy to use and allows for easy typing, this phone could be for you. On the other hand, if you would prefer a phone with better overall features, we would recommend the Blackberry Curve.
